Women, are seen in all sectors, in today’s world. Is gender equality relevant in the contemporary society?

Women constitute about the half of the population in not only India but also in the whole world. Women are now stands side by side in sectors. They are in Health Service, Police Service, Teaching Lines, Postal Service, Administrative Service, Political Service, Technology Service, Business Service, Transport Service, Software Service and in Defence Service also. There are as important in their sector as their male counterparts. Now a days we can’t take any name any sector where the women are not exist. Actually earlier girls were not given the education by their family, because they gave importance to their ‘Boy Child’ . They did not believe in girl’s ability. But in present situation, The mail dominated society started believing on the girls. Now they are given proper education. And the women are proving themselves. And the society also accepted the Skills, Intelligence of the women.

Even, in some sector they are the pioneer, they are the main protagonists.

I have  full support on the given topic that the gender equality is too much relevant in the contemporary society. Because , now a days women are involved in all areas of the society. From the past be-cades it has been accepted that they have got the important role to play within their sectors and contribute their share to the whole world along with their country. According to Pandit Jawaharlal Neheru,  “ In order to awakened, once she is on the move, the household moves, the village moves and the country moves ”. Earlier in the rural areas women were mainly involved as cultivators and agriculture laborers, and in urban areas women workers were involved in household industries, buildings and constructions, etc. Now Government is making efforts to provide equitable opportunity for women. Women are now participates I local government and decision making process, and income generating activities like Self Help Groups. And the educated women’s are participating in the all sectors of the society.

Thus the visibility of women is public life also increasing in local bodies or in administration, or in parliament.

Conclusion 
Gender equality also does not mean that male and females must always be needed the same some biological or sex differences are there. Gender equality can often be achieved by holding everyone to the same slandered.
At the end i must say judging a person based on their merit and ability , not judging them based on their gender
